Hey GadgetAngel,
First off, you're build log is impressively detailed. Its been super interesting reading through it.
I was looking at your wiring harness image and found it extremely helpful. I'm planning on making my own version of it just to help me out. I was wondering if you're willing to release an editable version of it? If made in Adobe software either an editable PDF or the Adobe file itself.
If not, I totally understand. I'm going to make my own regardless and give you credit (along with Thomas White), but just thought I'd ask before I start.
Thanks!
Zac

Sure I can add the Wiring harness Photoshop file to my gitHub. I need to see if GitHub will accept the file. I will be releasing a wiring diagram (functional and actual) once I get my "Litter Box" mod done. I am adding a box on the back of the Voron 2.4 printer so I can have more space for all the PSU and electronics. The Box's support brackets are giving me a hard time. I will be posting more about this on my Build Log after I get the "Litter Box" design done.

Give me a day or two to get the wiring harness file up on GitHub. I will put it in a sub directory called "Adobe_Photoshop" under the "Wiring Harness" directory.

I got the Adobe files up. I am uploading my repository to my Google Drive also, just in case you have a hard time downloading via Git and LFS file extension. I had to use LFS extension on GitHub so that GitHub would take the Adobe Photoshop files.

The .zip file for the repository will be available on my Google drive in about 20 minutes

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
Not sure if you're aware but the Octopus image is killing your file size. I'm converting the PSD to Illustrator just because thats what I mainly use. Deleting just that one image dropped the file size from ~4gb to 200mb.

Good to know.

I am glad you are able to reuse what I did.

I hope you make your Adobe Illustrator file available to me and others. When you get done developing your version of the wiring harness, can you please send me a link to your Adobe Illustrator file on you google drive so that I can add it to my github repository?

I really think it is a good practice that every one make up a wiring diagram for their Voron build.

At the present time, I am 3D modeling my whole Voron 2.4 build in Fusion 360. I want to ensure that all the MODS I am implementing will work on the printer before I start the build process. I will be making my Fusion 360 model available at a later date.

By 3D modeling (Fusion 360) my whole 3D printer, I will always have a model to refer back to at a later time.

Have fun!

Yeah, absolutely I'll post it! It will take be a bit as I have a lot coming up with work, but when I get it done I will definitely post it.

My wife just okayed me building a Voron this past weekend, so I'm still very much in the early stages of it, but I plan on posting everything I do as well.

I'm building mine in Fusion as well. I have a couple of custom designs I'm thinking of so I want to make sure everything works too. Fusion also integrates with Autodesk Eagle and has its own powerful wiring tool. I'm doing some custom circuit boards in my design so I plan on using Fusion for my circuit layout as well.

It sounds like you have more experience than I do. I hope we can work together. What size of Voron 2.4 are you building?

I'm building 300mm³. Its replacing a CR-10 that is heavily modded so I'm largely keeping the sizes the same.
More than happy to work together on the project! Between work and my family my build is going to be pretty slow, but happy to contribute in any way that I can. I'm going to start the Illustrator file this week at some point.

I am building the 250mm³.

I would love for you to look at my design of the litter box, to see if you have any suggestions about it.

Let's use this conversation as a way to share ideas about our Voron builds.

I am still working on the litter box mod. I have been working on it for a month now. Give me a couple more days and I will post a fusion 360 file of my Voron 2.4 build here so you can talk a look at the litter box mod.

BTW, I looked and EAGLE premium comes with my Fusion 360 subscription. I have never used EAGLE before but I will try to use the schematic drawing section for my wiring diagram. Thanks for the tip.

More than happy to look at your design! Just let me know when you push it out.
Eagle is really for custom PCBs, not so much schematics. I thought it could be for that, but it seems its a bit hard for that. I'm looking at other programs since it would be easier than anything else.
I'm ordering most of the materials for my printer tomorrow during Aliexpress's 11/11 sale. It will probably take me three to four months to build it just because of work/family/other obligations. I plan on doing very few mods in the beginning since I cant print in ABS until I get the printer running. Also I like starting from stock and modifying afterwards. Limited mods, or ones I've seen others do well I'm all for implementing from the beginning though.

Hey so I managed to resize the Photoshop file enough to be able to import it into Illustrator. I haven't really done anything to the Illustrator file yet, but thought I'd still share it with you. You can access it HERE.
