The homepage markdown has been cleaned up. The gradient hero banner has been converted to a component that is shared by all pages.

Please note:
Converting the gradient hero banner to a component required every page of the site to be updated. I did my best to check every page to ensure that there are no missing hero banner content. Whoever tests this will need to also check every page since all of them has the gradient banner.
