The spec of v1.1 is missing a description of the '>' and '<' are used in the W lines - that might be understandable from the given example, but it would be nice to have it briefly explained in the text.

Unstale-ify please - I'm currently trying to get a precise definition to make sure my intuition is correct ("<node_id" is equivalent to "node_id - " in link format)
