Problem: Cannot subscribe to newsletters over RSS.

Solution: something like https://kill-the-newsletter.com built into Fresh RSS. When if the email is setup in the (self-hosted) app, you can generate unique addresses for each newsletter and they get converted to RSS feeds. Feedly also has this feature.

Alternatives considered: I use kill the newsletter, but I'm worried it might die any time.

Hi,

Thank you for suggesting this feature request idea. We value and appreciate input from our community.

Kill the newsletter is already an open source app: https://github.com/leafac/kill-the-newsletter

What are you worried about?

@math-GH I think having it in one app makes sense. It's very close to core features.

Also I'm hosting FreshRSS using Cloudron, so there's no simple way to add this.

I could make a Cloudron app for kill-the-newsletter I guess.

I‘m looking for something similar as well. I’m hosting almost everything on my own server but this service is not working as expected having an Mailserver on the same domain.

Maybe freshRSS could implement this with an optional IMAP subscription?
