Deleting element from a series of events does not work. (CalDAV) #197
Comments
The same applies to changing one event of a series. E.g. if you change date from today to tomorrow and chose "this event only", you are left with one event today and one tomorrow after "save". So, generally the initial single event to change just stays in the calender as it was. Not sure, whether it's relevant or not: I started this from out of the month view. |
@bigboipete The bug you mentioned is already reported here: #138. |
What also happens: If you delete an event within a series with another calendar app (e.g. Thunderbird on Desktop-PC), the event is recreate when opening FossyOrg/Calendar. |
@kroerig What app are you using for calendar synchronization? Davx5 or something different? |
OpenSync |
@kroerig Have you considered changing the app for calendar synchronization? As I see, OpenSync is no longer maintained. Could you try Davx5 and check if you still have the problem? It may not be an issue on our side. |
I don't think the device/software specific label applies here, because
with OpenSync just touches a small part of the main issue. I use Davx5 and can test this specific point with TB and Fossify Calender (might take a few days). But the main issue is confirmed for different devices (mine is a Shift5me). |
I'll switch to DAVx5 and try. |
