Yomichan / Ankiconnect not pasting clipboard images into cards anymore on Firefox

Everything was working perfectly until some days ago: clipboard images were pasted in the clipboard-image anki deck field like normal, but now it just stopped working. I've tried resetting firefox but no luck. I can confirm the screenshots actually get saved into the clipboard, as I've also tested this with chrome and it works like a charm. But not on Firefox. Everything else still works like normal.

Wow, I thought I was going crazy. I triple checked all my permissions, anki card format, everything

It looks like a Firefox update on November 15 has "unresolved clipboard issues" but that has to do with spacing. Maybe it's affecting Yomichan?

Any updates? I'm also facing this issue on Firefox Developer Edition version 109.0b5 (64-bit). Currently using Google Chrome as a workaround...
