I ran into an issue where my config operated differently than I thought. So I had this seen filter configured, thinking that this means that something if it marked something as seen if it matched all these criteria (title, URL, content size AND modified). Basically if I had something that was only partially downloaded on my source folder, I wanted to make sure I grabbed the full thing when it was done, since the content size and modified would be different.
However, what I found out is that instead of being an AND operator for those fields, it's instead an OR operator, since I found out that two entries collided since they happened to have the exact same content_size, despite all the other fields being different.
So, what I was thinking is that you could add a config option to tell it which operator to use, such as combine_criteria. So if that was set to yes (and probably leave it as no for a default), something would be marked as seen only if it matched ALL of those fields instead of ANY.
Perhaps there's an alternate way I could configure this with existing plugins, but I wasn't seeing one. I looked at the upgrade plugin but this use case didn't really seem to fit since it's not really anything with quality, but maybe I'm wrong and there's a clever jinja filter I could do.
Anyway, I was curious if there was any interest in this besides me and how feasible it would be?
