CUAV V5+ startup failed #50

I have successfully comipled the project, and download fmt_cuav-v5+.bin the qgc. But the firmware can't startup, the debug console print the following message:

You console output is really wrong.
What's the hardware that you are using, is it cuav v5+

Yes, CUAV V5+.

Hmm, that's strange. I have tested the latest code with master branch, which is fine on my CUAV V5+ board.
The correct output should be something like this:

Can you try the fmt_cuav-v5+.zip that I attached?

Can you try the fmt_cuav-v5+.zip that I attached? fmt_cuav-v5+.zip

I test the firmware in two cuav v5+, which i have bought in different time. The one is correct, but the other still have the error.
Then I test the px4 firmware on both cuav v5+ boards, both are correct.
The problem may the difference between the two hardware.

Oh, really? That make sense, I didn't aware of there are different version of CUAV V5+ hardware.

Yes, pretty sure, I have test several times.

I think I find the reason. The cuav v5+ which has problem may has APM bootloader inside. So if you flash a PX4 bootloader it should work fine.
