Audio Volume miss match #1404

Can you compare against sndvol.exe? |
Thats whats showen in the screenshots
|
No that's some ExplorerPatcher influenced UI. I'd like to see the actual sndvol.exe app window. |
What the heck? Can you collect diagnostics via Settings too? I'll try to reproduce this but this is certainly unexpected! (Does restarting EarTrumpet fix this?) |
Restarting the app does not fix this and when clicking the collect diagnostics nothing happens as far as i can see |
If it helps i would be happy to list any changes made that could effect eartrumpet / check if its changed |
It should open Notepad with a diagnostics log. A list would be great, as I'll set up a machine w/ the same configuration for testing. |
Oh needing notepad explains why it was not working (i uninstalled it) [Couldint you just call the file directly so it will open in the users set txt editor not just forceing notepad]
|
@ooTruffle We do that. EarTrumpet/EarTrumpet/Diagnosis/LocalDataExporter.cs Lines 29 to 31 in a7d6e7d
Thanks for the log, will try to reproduce that here. |
The following content is from Google Translation I have also encountered the same problem recently. Compared with the diagnostic log, I found that the problem is similar. Switching other output audio equipment also reproduces this problem. Finally, I uninstalled ET and reinstalled this problem. I hope to help others |
The following content is from Tencent TranSmart API. I recently had the same problem. Compared to diagnostic logs, I found similar issues. Switching other output audio devices will reproduce this problem as well. For example, when I set the system volume to 20%, the volume displayed in EarTrumpet is 72%; when the system volume is set to 72%, the volume displayed in EarTrumpet is 94%. Finally, I compared the EarTrumpet configuration screenshots from the old version and found that there was an additional enabled configuration, Commouity Setting-Use logarithmic volume scale. I turned it off and the problem was solved. EarTrumpet version |
