FPP V8: Kiosk mode does not work with Raspberry Pi 7" Touch Screen Display

FPP Version and Hardware:
FPP 8.x v2024-03 master on Pi3

Describe the bug and Steps to reproduce:
I can see the boot up messages on the screen before I enable kiosk mode, but after enabling it and rebooting is black. I think it's getting some sort of a black signal, during the reboot, the screen enables, but just not content.

I tested with 6.3 and it works fine.
I tested with 7.5 and it works fine.
