Requested features:

  • Cron/API based download of list of all TDLs available from registrars - including prices, available registration periods etc - filterable by type. ie generic, country level, premium, potentially restricted etc. and create/recreate database daily, with free exchange rate API based currency conversion from registrar default currency to fossbilling default currency.
  • Provide management interface which facilitates setting margin/profit %age per domain or group/category of domains, with fossbilling individual domain price calculation based on this. This will enable fossbilling domain prices to change dynamically on a daily basis as the registrar prices and/or exchange rates change.
  • USPs - systematic adoption of this dynamic TLD/domain pricing strategy will enable customers to benefit from same day price reductions to match registrar offers as well as protecting fossbilling based businesses from unforeseen registrar and exchange rate driven price increases.
  • Commercial competitor systems have similar functionality - but it is not implemented in a way which is commercially useful.
