Register resouce content does not change with protocol type

Hi,
I have installed Geoportal 1.2.9 when I try to register a new network resource I see different protocol types as radio buttons. It is my assumption that the required input fields should change based on the selected protocol types. However the input fields remain same no matter what protocol i select. Am I missing any configuration settings? Please find attached the snap shots along with gpt.xml

Hi, a bit late, but for anyone who might experience the same: I had the same issue with 1.2.6 and the cause was a reference to old JS API version.
gpt.xml should contain:
