maybe in the future, but since it's not a widely used language the priority is very low

Just stumbled upon this feature request and I want to disagree. Symfony a popular PHP framework has Twig as the default template engine and there is also twigJS if one would like to use it in JS :-)

Whenever you find time, I'm happy to test it. Until then: Thanks for your work and the library and enjoy your holidays!
