It would be great if EdSharp would be able to detect the line-ending style being used in the file that is opened, and not change that when saved. For instance, if I open a LF line ending file, it should not save it as CRLF, unless I requested it to do so somehow.

Yes,
this feature is very useful to work with files stored on a server.
