What part of EdgeTX is the focus of this bug?

Transmitter firmware

Current Behavior

I was trying to update my X12S to the latest firmware V.2.10.0. As always, after updating the SD card, I put the firmware file in the firmware folder of the SD card, and started the update of the bootloader prior to load the full firmware, and following standard procedures.
When the bootloader was mid-way of the update process, the screen when blank and the radio was totally bricked. The only way to recover the radio was to write the firmware to 2.10.0 using companion, and connecting the radio in off mode.

Expected Behavior

The firmware should be able to update as always

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Write the latest v2.10.0 SD content already into the card of the radio.
  2. Put the correct firmware file for X12S into the firmware folder (Checked twice).
  3. Open the file from the system to upload the bootloader.
  4. The process is interrupted mid-way, the screen goes blank and the radio will not be responding to the On/Off switch.

Version

2.9.4

Transmitter

FrSky X12

Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

Windows 11.

Anything else?

The radio has the touch pannel mod installed and functional.
