Displaying photo with correct orientation

How can i've photo display with correct orientation. Is there a key in metadata which can be used?

The photos should display with their native orientation, do you mean you
want to change this orientation to something else?

No, the iPhone camera photos are displayed with incorrect orientation. Landscape photos are upside down and portrait photos are in landscape mode. I've a photo picker which picks images from the user's photo album.
