My plan is to fork this repo and add a cime_config subdirectory with a buildlib and Makefile which will use the Macros file from a cime case. But FMS seems to have a lot of parts - should I build a single libfms.a or several smaller libraries? Should we do this with cmake since presumably we are headed in that direction for the rest of the model?
