When updating the app to a more recent version, settings and plugin list is not preserved, so the user has to configure settings again inside the "Options" tab and re-scan plugins.

Thank you for reporting this, i'll try to reproduce the problem on my side.
I expect the plugin list to be cleared after the update (due to the new mapping between plugins and projects in 1.25.0). But settings (in Options tab) defined by users should not be reset during the update.
