Raspivid parameters and restart

Hi I am not sure if this will be possible but it would very nice to have a menu style configuration for the raspivid parameters.

I read somewhere that you do not want to have a restart option for the Air or Ground Station but would it be possible to restart just the raspivid service to apply new parameters while in the air.
