Mac curl command to install not working

ZSH Shell

curl command not working as it's trying to use apt-get

curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Drew-Alleman/DataSurgeon/main/install/install.sh | sh

sudo: apt-get: command not found

Also, does git still need to be installed even though it's already installed under Brew and there is also the System git?
