Issue Type: Bug

Hi all of dev!
I didn't really have time to understand what happened but I'll try to explain it as simply as possible (I'm not a big pro).
I actually just wanted to open VSCode as I was working on git. And I got distracted by what was showing in the "source code control" window. In the "changes" tab, there were thousands of files, some of which came from my PC and I didn't understand what it was doing there .... I think I pressed "ignore all changes" I don't know anymore . And there, total panic I understood that he was destroying all my data.
So, I wanted to use the Recuva software and it brought me thousands of files but I know that there are not only the good ones because the dates differ.
It happened on March 28, 2022 between 7:55 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. but it only lasted 2 minutes, just long enough for me to notice.
Are you able to find this data? Can you help me please? Do I need to reset my system before the deletion time?
I do not know what to do...
