I think this is a bug, when using this as a stand alone solution. I just tried this code as an example: require_once 'vendor/autoload.php'; use LdapRecord\Connection; // Your LDAP server configuration // Create a new LDAP connection try {
} catch (\LdapRecord\Auth\BindException $e) { I get this response: ldap_sasl_bind

It seems to be looking for a default connection called "default". It should be using my connection that I previously used in my script. Unless I am missing something, I can't figure out how to make it use my prior connection. This makes me sad. |

Hi LDAPRECORD team,
I'm trying to use your class and for the life of me I can't get past one error.
Using ldaprecord ver3 on php 8.2.11, I'm able to use it to connect to my windows 2022 active directory server using TLS and SSL on port 636 with no errors. My service account that I am logging in as is a domain admin and I manually granted 100% all rights to everything in AD.
I can Successfully pull down users and attributes for users.
I can NOT add a new user account. I keep getting error code 0 with the error message "The LDAP connection [default] does not exist."
I've tried all kinds of combinations and nothing has worked. Been stuck on this for days.
here is a small code snippet to show what I am generally trying to do. What am I missing?
$ldap_connection->connect();
