It keeps saying "Something is already running at port 8000" Which is not true.

Then it prompts, "Would you like to run the app at another port instead? [Y/n]"
Entering "Y" does nothing.

Hm, thanks for this. A workaround is to use npm run start inside the ./scripts/doxity dir.

In ./scripts/doxity running npm start and npm run start give me a missing script: start error.
What are the commands that are meant to be run in this script, so I can try them manually?

Update:

Was able to get it to run using ./node_modules/.bin/gatsby develop in scripts/doxity
