Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Related to #81. The current search_radius argument for contacts_compute_boundary() in a spherical grid seems to be in degrees. In the refinement algorithm the min_edge_size is always in meters, consider also making the search_radius in meters always. >> requires non-trivial modifications so maybe leave this out.

Always provide the search_radius in meters, also in case of a spherical grid
