[1.20.1] Paper Walls and Windows look weird on East/West Axis

When placing the Paper Walls and Windows North-South, they look fine. But when placed East-West, they get all funky.

I do have Diagonal Fences/Walls/Windows installed, so I'm not sure if it's a conflict? They place diagonally just fine.

This only happens with the diagonal windows mod installed. The one on the right is the block that is placed by diagonal windows with the id of diagonalwindows:dawnoftimebuilder/paper_wall_flowery. The left is the normal block that had to be placed with /setblock

It seams this problem comes from diagonal mod, i will try to see on their git if it can be fixed easily but I think it could be complicated !
