I have fetched the latest release for SSG - scap-security-guide-0.1.69 and however I am not seeing AmazonLinux2 SSG, can we use any alternative for amazon linux? if not, please let us know if there is any support for AmazonLinux from future releases?

Does it make sense to create a new product targeting al2/al2023 or could anyone suggest to leverage or adopt the existing Fedora/RH profiles?

I would suggest creating a new product if you looking to Amazon Linux support to this project. If you looking for product to help base things off of I would suggest looking at RHEL. For Amazon Linux 2 RHEL 7 might be good source to look at. For newer versions of Amazon Linux RHEL 9 would be best.

I'm not aware of any plans for support Amazon Linux from others.

Let me try it myself and back to you as soon as I have anything usable.
First time for me here so if you have any howtos related to the new product creation besides this here then it would be very helpful.

Thanks @Mab879!

If you looking for recent PR that added a product take look at #11621.
