[Announcement] Droping official Mac OS support #301

As mentioned in #248, I am going to drop official support of Mac OS. There are two main reasons that motivated this decision:

My macbook died a few weeks ago and I have no intention to replace it. As such it will be difficul for me to provide support for Mac OS specific issues.
Since we move to gitlab, we loose the ability to have a Mac OS CI (at least we loose the ability to use gitlab-ci for that).
