Description:

It appears that MellowPlayer doesn't scale correctly (at least on GNOME). See the attached screenshot. Only tested on Wayland, but I guess it'd look the same on X11?

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Set display to a high resolution (e.g. 3840x2160)
  2. Set scaling to 200% in Gnome-Control-Center
  3. Everything scales to 200%, but MellowPlayer doesn't

It appears that Qt apps aren't affected by GNOME's scaling setting. Scaling can be set manually via QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS (see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/HiDPI#Qt_5), but it would be nice if MellowPlayer either autodetected what GNOME's scaling factor is or had a setting for this, like Telegram Desktop (also Qt5)

Additional Information:

  • Version: 3.4.0
  • Operating System: Exherbo Linux, using GNOME 3.28. Native version.

Thank you for reporting. I'll add an option for HiDi scaling like telegram desktop.
