In our company we have 5 people who work on different projects:

  • Project A (Martin, David)
  • Project B (Martin, Michael, Patrick)
  • Project C (Martin, Patrick, David, Michael)

and we have difficulties in planning capacities across all projects.
Current possibilities to use cm42-central:

1. Use only one project for all people and plan project

  • you cannot see the rest of work for each project separatly, messy solution

2. Each project has it's own project in cm42-central

  • we need to count and change velocity for every sprint manually and prioritize each project separatly
  • person doesn't know if a task has higher priority from one project then a task from another project

Proposed solution / Idea:
Inspired by

We could implement functionality where you can see a view for specifir team with team's backlogs from multiple projects, plan team's velocity and assign tasks from all backlogs to one team sprint.

What do you think about this idea? Or how do you solve this situation now?

(we would plan it in detail later and we would be happy in IT Lab to contribute on implementing this, right now I just want to know your opinions)

Thank you!

Is a good solution, I think we have part of it implemented already, with tag groups.

We are in the middle of milestones implementation, see #99. This would help you, in part, but we are considering this workspace also.

Well, I think this is a big feature, so we can't implement it ASAP. But, your help is appreciated.

Great, thank you. I will join the development then and let leave this for the future consideration.
