Crashing (only) on 12' iPad pro #9

When running my main project on a 12' iPad pro, the app crashes.

I Tried:

Crashes on 9.3.2 12' ipad pro (main project and opensans demo project)
Crashes on 10.2.1 12' ipad pro (main project and opensans demo project)
Works fine on all other devices ios 9-10
Using the openSans .ttf font seems to work
Tested on 2 different macbooks both crash

This is the demo project running on 10.2.1
