We should add tests that run the global simulations for e.g. for 1 min to ensure that nothing has been broken, e.g., in the syntax of a method.

We should probably set up buildkite cause I think the tests will eventually be expensive?

when we have a way to get bathymetry/initial conditions at any resolution we can have the tests done eg at 2-degree resolution
