Our target AMIP run with diagnostic EDMF, "MPI AMIP FINE: topo + diag edmf", (using Float32) is failing after 8 days of simulation time with:

ERROR: LoadError: DomainError with -1.0000001:
acos(x) not defined for |x| > 1

(build)

Running the same simulation with Float64 fails after 3 days with maxiter reached in saturation_adjustment (build)

since the longrun still fails with Float64, this won't be merged
