Export cross-section as new catalog

I would like to work separately with different cross-sections. I cannot find a saved variable in ZG that keeps the cross-section data once it is calculated.

It seems from the code that it should be saved within ZG, but those values are empty. Can you pass the new catalog out or have this as a feature?
