You are invited to participate in the TPC-DS of ByConity

ByConity is an open source Cloud Native OLAP data warehouse engine. It is good at interactive query and ad hoc query, with support for multi-table association complex query, cluster expansion without sense, offline batch data, and real-time data stream unified summary and other characteristics.

The ByConity beta version has been released. We sincerely invite all community users to engage in this TPC-DS benchmark test activity. There are a lot of wonderful gifts waiting for you!

This event officially opened on March 21, 2023, and there are two items: "Complete The Test" and "Best Demo Scenario". Due to the difficulty of this test and possible teamwork, we have specially prepared prizes and incentives for the teams who complete the test and give feedback on the Best Demo Scenario.

Detailed rules

1. According to the guidelines of "Practice of ByConity Cluster Setup and TPC-DS Benchmark", complete the verification deployment and run the TPC-DS benchmark test and collect the results (multiple deployments under the same cluster will be calculated once).
2. Submitting test results: During the activity cycle, submit the test results to this form. The first 10 community members who successfully submit valid test results will receive a JD.com coupon valued at 1000 yuan. The test results are the logs output from the Check the Results section of the guideline doc.
3. Besides the TPC-DS benchmark test, community members are welcome to use their own actual business scenario data for verification and apply for Demo selection. Scenario use cases can be written or completed with the ByConity team. After the event, we will announce all the collected use cases and publicly vote in the community. Finally, according to the results of the review committee and public voting, the top three will be selected to award prizes for the best Demo scenario. Community members who apply for a Demo can contact the community assistant directly (see the article's end for the QR code).
4. Prizes for "Complete The Test" and "Best Demo Scenario" can be accumulated.
5. The test results submitted in this event refuse to cheat. Once found, the award qualification will be canceled. The interpretation right of the final gift issuance belongs to the event review committee.
