Compatibility with SP2013

We're in the process of migrating our SP2010 environment to SP2013. Our sites that used the webpart appear to be work in the sense that videos are playing back, but if we attempt to edit any pages that contain the 2010 web parts, we're getting errors and/or the site seems to lock up and the navigation bar at the top does not work.

Should the SP2010 solution with in an SP2013 farm? We're running our databases in 2010 compatibility mode and the site collections are all in 2010 compatibility. We also re-installed the solution in 2010 compatibility ("-CompatibilityLevel 14") and this didn't seem to make a difference.

Does anyone have any advise here?
