BrightCove video cloud player web part issue:

• Page shows javascript error on trying to configure Playlist ID

Steps to reproduce:
o Drop BrightCove cloud video player web part on page
o Edit webpart settings > BrightCove configuration > Click on Playlist ID setting
o Pop up opens with an javascript error: ”Object Expected”, (refer attached screenshot)

Background:

• Installed BrightCove solution to SharePoint site and followed the instructions provided in document “BrightCove SharePoint Integration Installation Guide.doc” which is available in solution folder.
• In installation guide it is mentioned that, the BrightCove Video Cloud Integration Feature installs a demonstration site on server. We are able to access the demo site but the functionality is not working properly and we are unable to see the samples.
• BrightCove video player web part has the properties to set for a specific video to be played, however it throws a JavaScript error ”Object Expected” while configuring the PlayerList Id Property as shown in screenshot.

Our issue was that the BrightCoveSDK.dll only deployed to one server. Once I deployed the .dll to all servers everything worked appropriately. Check all servers to see that BrightCoveSDK.dll is in assembly folder. I downloaded the https://powershellgac.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Add-GacAssembly&referringTitle=Home GAC Module and added the BrightCoveSDK.dll that way through SharePoint Powershell.
