Problem

I've cretaed a notification for BBPress Topics and subsequent Replies, I would like to output an excerpt of the topic and or the reply instead of having to output the entire topic content, this kind of feels wrong to me, I would like users to return to the forum where they won't have to if I simply add the entire content of the topic or reply to the email they get sent.

Solution

A code similar to the {the content} code in the editor that can be copied into the body of the email, something like {the excerpt}

Alternatives you've considered

I haven't considered any as yet, apart from removing the content field from the email body.
