Slow selection of Components in list in main window

Describe the bug
In the main window selecting components is slow as in 1second

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open project
2. Click on some random components
3. It takes 1 second to change components
4. In the background i can see that it selects the component on the PCB, is this the issue?

Expected behavior
100ms time frame to change compontents.
In the background i can see that it selects the component on the PCB, is this the issue? Maybe it can be done after the selection in the list? Or async?
