Blended usage data.

I have an octopus mini, and sometimes my data drops out resulting in permanent holes in my usage. Although the roll up at the end of day is largely in affected.

Additionally the mini data isn't the 'real' data.

Would it be possible to blend, using the real time data for today only and replacing with the nightly real meter readings after the current day?

Does that make sense?

Hi there. Unfortunately this isn't possible as HA doesn't support historic data being changed. This is why the previous consumption sensors have seperate sensors for energy dashboard use. It might be possible to create a separate statistics sensor (like previous consumption) to have the blended result.

In my setup I have both current and previous configured within the energy dashboard so I can then compare the difference.
