Hi,

I am trying to calculate πs (mean ds value) to estimate the Ne (effective population size).
I tested ConSpeciFix using 12 published Mycobacterium smegmatis strains from GenBank, the results.txt (see attached) indicates that no strains should be exluded in this species. However, the h/m ratio graph shows a sharp increase. Besides, the h/m ratio is lower than 0.2. May I know how can I interpret these results?
Can I say these 12 strains are a clonal population?

1772.results.txt

Best wishes,
Xiaojun
