Is there an existing plan for this?

  • I have searched the existing discussions, release notes, and documentation.

Description of the Feature, Filter, or Functionality?

In EBSD microscopy it is common to generate the IPF Colors and then blend that RGB array with something like the Confidence Index (EDAX Data) array. Because the confidence Index is low around grain boundaries those will start to appear darker and can enhance an EBSD image for visual presentation.

Version

7.0.x (DREAM3DNX beta)

What section did you foresee your suggestion falling in? [Further details may be required during triage process]

High Level Steps To Implement

What ever array is used as the data being "blended" into the color array, that would control the transparency or "darken" the RGB up by some amount? Not sure.

Anything else?
