Can NOT start new messages

Hi. New user here and loving it!
I'm running Server version 1.9.6 on macOS 14.1.2 and have the Private API enabled.
I'm accessing my server with Google Chrome on a PC.
I can receive new messages and reply to them as long as they are active chats in iMessages. However when I click the Compose icon to start a new message to a contact, I get "An unexpected error occurred when rendering." at the bottom of the right-side pane. There already phone numbers available as if it is meant to be a preview of all my contacts. Problem is there are far fewer number being shown here than what my contacts database holds. I have about 2.5k contact names. Is that my issue?
Not as big a problem but every once in a while my contact names will revert to just showing the associated phone numbers.
I started logging while initiating a new thread and can see this in my logs...

I'll declare my macOS is running in VMWare.

Any advice on whether this is a bug or something I can try to rectify.

Like I said, I'm new. Everything I mentioned is still the case on a web browser.
But; OMG, then I discovered the BB app for Windows!
Everything works so well - rock solid performance. What an awesome tool set.

I have this same issue when using the web app

The instability is mostly due to the poor support from the db Flutter library used having poor support for browser use
