On the PC client, there is currently no way to add/manage contact names.

On the bluebubbles server, you had sync to your icloud contacts, but if you're not using icloud then you have to manually add your contacts.

Suggestions:

  1. Add a sync options to BB Server or BB Client on where to sync your contacts. iCloud and add Google Contacts. Have this option on the PC or other clients as well with a refresh option for when new contacts get added.
  2. Add the abilty to tag a contact, within the PC client and have that store locally. Click on number, Options and Actions, Add Contact. By default it would pull in the phone number and the end user could add first, last and email.

Scroll to the bottom of Android app settings and there's an option to export contacts.

I don't use an android but have one. I mainly use it on my PC. If I export contacts on android, would that update the contacts on the PC Client? tyvm

I did the sync via android but still do not have all my contacts showing up, nor can you add contacts from the desktop app itself. I think there is some work to be done on contact managmenet and sync.
