Rock Cutter not working on ores

Expected Behavior

Cutting out ores with silk touch

Actual Behavior

It's like I would mine the ores (tested with vanilla coal and copper) with my bare hand.
It works like it should on stone, dirt etc.
Buzzsaw is filled with biodiesel.
Created an new world with only IE installed

Steps to reproduce

1. Created new profile with modrinth app, chose "Neoforge" as loader and "1.20.1" as game version
2. Started MC via modrinth app and created new world
3. Gave me Buzzsaw, rock cutter and biodiesel
4. Tried it on coal, copper, stone, dirt with described result
