Having this section has been a desire for a long time and was now kicked off by @beanandcheeseburrito, who has already done extensive user interviews. As discussed in jam session #24, this could be an enormous section covering diverse use cases (online, offline, exchanges, customer-facing, merchant dashboards, etc). I created this issue as an umbrella for this long-term effort to track progress in one place.

Initial tasks we settled in on the jam session were to:

  • Create an initial table of contents brainstorm like we had at the beginning of the guide (issue)
  • Create a first page that summarizes the user research and outlines use cases and personas (issue)

This effort is (pretty obviously) on pause. The interest in this section still exists, but we need someone to be the champion and driver to make it happen. I consolidated the open (and stale) guide issues we had here.

Wow. 'til will meet again, merchants guide 🫡

I bet Andrej Stacks might pick it up at some point, he's working on Blink as well as living in a bitcoin circular economy with high merchant adoption.

That would be great, I'd love to see it.
