I would like a feature added. I want to be able to re-config a client from the CC server without having to ..

  • Create config.json
  • have any permissions to modify files

Whole architecture is against this feature. It would be a major refactoring of the whole miner / daemon.

following on this I am not sure I get the point of the "pull config" command, when the miner starts it loads the config and doesn't care anymore what is on disk and if it is updated it is from the server anyway, so why would you fetch the config on disk?
Also wouldn't changing threads at runtime affect performance?
