This is an aside to Issue #6999. The General Information section menu in RawPedia would benefit from some sub headings to improve the readability. One possibility would be something along the lines of the following:

General Information
Overview
Getting Started
Features

Installation
Download
GIMP Plugin
Making a Portable Installation
Command-Line Options
File Paths

Interface
The File Browser
The Editor
Batch Adjustments - Sync
Saving Images
Edit Current Image in External Editor
Preferences
ICC Profile Creator
Keyboard Shortcuts

Technical Background
The Floating Point Engine
Bit Depth
RGB and Lab
About Noise Reduction
Toolchain pipeline – Colorimetry

The Local Adjustments menu also suffers from this problem. In this case one solution would be to move the Worked Examples to a separate Tutorial section.

Definitely some good food for thought - and I think belongs in the main discussion so it can be considered.

At least my plan is to get a near-direct conversion functional and use that proof of concept as a basis of discussion for where to go forwards, and that includes menu structure.
