Environment:

Apple M1 Pro macOS 13.3.1 (a)

Issue:

this error occurred on the relatively new version of macOS when opening the app:

"BabylonJS Editor" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Solution:

Run this command to remove the quarantine attribute in the app:

xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/BabylonJS\ Editor.app
