"Error while updating light effects: The type initializer for 'Nested' threw an exception."

Expected Behaviour

aurora opens and functions normally, no error prompts.

Actual Behaviour

upon opening aurora, an error prompt pops up with the text "Error while updating light effects: The type initializer for 'Nested' threw an exception." which doesn't go away when you click "OK". it doesn't seem to hook into my peripherals as i'm unable to do anything to change the lights in the app. i have an all-corsair setup: m65 rgb ultra mouse, k70 max keyboard, mm700 rgb mousepad and an ls100 starter kit. all devices have the latest firmware and i'm running the latest version of icue.
