Key wave (rainbow) does not behave like a key wave

Expected Behaviour

Key wave (rainbow) should send out a wave from key presses with a rainbow effect starting one colour and ending on the last, standard key wave (rainbow effect) note: all other key waves work correctly.

Actual Behaviour

A rainbow effect is produced heading in a south-east direction before reversing and sending a bigger wave in the north-west direction

Reproduction steps

fresh install and updates do not fix this issue seems like an isolated case, issue was discovered after a reinstall of windows was preformed after windows failed to load repeatedly after restarted

i recently updated to this new version of aurora. i've been using the old one from the other repo for quite some time now and the first thing i noticed is how broken the rainbow key wave effect is compared to the old version. it does not only start at the wrong key, it also looks way different, mostly red/orange compared to the old effect where you could see all the colors
the old effect was fine, why did you replace it? how do i get full functionality back? do i have to downgrade to the old version from the old repo again?

the normal and filled keyfade effects do work as intended, only rainbow is bugged, i took some screenrecords:
these are the settings i used, i just switched "Key Wave (Filled)" for "Key Wave (Rainbow)", also the settings don't really matter, the rainbow effect is broken no matter what settings are used:

Sorry I've ignored this issue for a while but I will fix this first next time I work on Aurora again

I really don't suggest going back to the old version as it's background CPU usage is really bad
